This surgical forceps has been specifically designed to facilitate the insertion of corneal lenticules in all the types of corneal intrastromal implantation surgery. Particularly thanks to the cross-action of its branches and to the flat grasping tips it allows to insert the lenticule through small incisions (as small as 3.5 mm) and to spread out and unfold the implanted tissues within the stromal pocket in one single maneuver. Particularly useful for the SLAK procedures (Stromal Lenticule Addition Keratoplasty) in corneal ectasia, can be employed in any kind of intrastromal tissue augmentation procedures
